State-orchestrated campaign to transform Ukrainian nationality into a radical Nazi ideology of Russian ethnic group

If ethnic Ukrainians are turned into a type of "radical ideology" of Russian nationality - they automatically fall under the legal status of a national minority under Law No. 2827-IX On National Minorities (Communities) of Ukraine, adopted in 2022, despite being the majority population, as absurd as this may sound, and lose their legal collective belonging to the Ukrainian people and no longer have the collective right to self-determination and sovereignty.

The situation is critical because, in Ukraine itself, legal collective status exists for every nationality in the world except ethnic Ukrainians. This coincides with the Russian Federation’s central official narrative that ethnic Ukrainians do not exist as a separate collective people but merely constitute a radical branch of the Russian ethnic group.

According to this narrative, the conflict is presented not as a war but as a special military operation against what is portrayed as a radical segment of the Russian ethnic group, and instead of establishing a legal collective status for ethnic Ukrainians - the committee of the Verkhovna Rada rejected Bill No. 15103, which proposed recognizing ethnic Ukrainians as an indigenous people of Ukraine, on 16 June 2026 without providing any reasons, thereby reinforcing this narrative.

As a result, ethnic Ukrainians also lose, in the collective legal sense, the right to be recognized as victims of the armed conflict and the right to collective international protection because they become legally part of the aggressor group, making it legally impossible to distinguish them from the aggressor itself and leaving them only with individual protection based on citizenship.

And the more radical nationalism there is in Ukraine, the less legitimate the concept of Ukrainian nationality as a separate collective legal group becomes, allowing other nationalities recognized under Law No. 1616-IX, “On the Indigenous Peoples of Ukraine,” to become the sole legitimate owners of the territory, land, natural resources, and the sole historical legal successors to the territory under Articles 5 and 13 of the Constitution of Ukraine.

Therefore, radical nationalism in Ukraine serves as a tool for delegitimizing the Ukrainian national group and eliminating a competitor for recognition as the historical successor to the territory, confirming the existence of an interethnic conflict in Ukraine between national groups recognized and not recognized under national legislation, concealed by the scale of the Russian aggression.

And until the international community takes this into account and conducts its own investigation, especially into the role of Israel through the legal institution of the indigenous peoples of Ukraine, which somehow, during the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, became the only Ukrainian people in the collective sense, apart from the Crimean Tatars, according to the Constitution and the laws of Ukraine, it will not understand the true nature of the conflict or what is actually happening.

These criminal activities of Ukraine’s Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Centers, the authorities responsible for mobilizing the population, and the National Police, including unlawful arrests, torture, mass disappearances, abductions, murders of civilians and children, and human trafficking, carried out exclusively in the name of Ukrainian culture and in the Ukrainian language, create a domestic public demand for perceiving the Ukrainian language and culture as symbols of lawlessness, violence, mass suffering, and arbitrariness, thereby turning Ukrainian nationality into a Nazi ideology in the eyes of its very own population.

Institutionalized support for and promotion by the ruling authorities of the image of a Nazi Ukraine — including official honors of the reburial of Andriy Melnyk, the conferral of the honorary title OUN-UPA on the Ukrainian Special Operations Forces, which sparked a diplomatic dispute with Poland, and the demolition of the monument to the Kyiv-born writer Mikhail Bulgakov, just beacause he wrote in Russian — contributes to the perception that Ukraine is fighting not Russian aggression, but solely Russian  culture.

In other words, it is institutionalized complicity by the ruling regime of Ukraine in Russian aggression and legal and ideological assistance to the Russian aggressor, which creates both a legal and a moral justification for conducting the special military operation for the Russian Federation indeed.

Because when millions of Russians watch everything that is happening, including these videos — which in the Western media environment, are heavily censored in order to justify continued funding of such genocide, but they are widely available across social media and broadcast daily on mainstream television in entire Russia, alongside the official narrative that the operation is aimed at denazification, demilitarization, and the protection of the Russian language, Russian-speaking population, and Russian culture — what conclusion are they likely to draw?

If all these videos of abductions, torture, unlawful detentions, and arrests, which are currently subject to the harshest censorship in the West, are eventually shown to Western audiences on a massive scale - will anyone still believe that there were no Nazis in Ukraine?
